Can't wait

Just a couple days till it starts! Just got done working my last weekend with good pay! We called it "Black Sunday". Was great! As usual. Last Sunday lunch- hamburgers & hot dogs, chips & cake! All good, 'cept my lanyard broke. I'm ready for a new, different year!

Start of 2013, a busy year ahead!

Hello, I'm Kelly! Welcome to my first blog! I consider myself to be an intermediate piecer & beginning quilter.

I'm gonna challenge myself this coming year! I'm going to work on three 2013 BOMs at the same time. The first is the TQS BOM by Sue Nickels & Pat Holly (free for www.thequiltshow.com members-I have one 6 month free membership if anyone's interested.) The next is a $25 BOM @ a local quilt shop ($10 extra per month if blocks not completed on time). And the third is a $10 BOM quilt at another local quilt shop ($5 extra per month if blocks not completed on time). I'm also working on a commerative quilt- all hand pieced mural/portrait. I'll post pics & update often, feel free to respond & send questions. Yes, I'm crazy- who else would love cutting up fabrics and sewing them back together, except a quilter...
